This policy explains what happens to personal information when you visit lookupmedia.co or buy one of our titles.
Who is responsible
Lookup Media LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States, is responsible for the personal information described here. You can contact us about anything on this page at lookupmediallc@gmail.com.
What this website collects
Nothing. This site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no tracking scripts, advertising pixels, embedded fonts or third-party content of any kind. There is no account to create and no login. You can read every page here without giving us any information at all.
As with any website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical connection data such as IP address and browser type in order to serve pages and protect against abuse. We do not use that data to build any profile of you and we do not combine it with anything else.
What we collect when you buy
Purchases are not completed on this site. Selecting "Buy" takes you to our storefront, The Ancient Store, on the Gumroad platform, and your purchase is made there. Gumroad collects the information needed to take payment and deliver your files, which includes your name, email address, payment details and the country or region used to calculate any applicable tax.
We never see or hold your full card number. From a completed order we receive the information needed to run the business: what was bought, when, the amount paid, and the email address the download was sent to.
Gumroad processes this information as its own controller under its own privacy policy, which we would encourage you to read. If we move card processing to Stripe, Stripe will handle payment data under its own policy in the same way, and we will update this page before that change takes effect.
Email you send us
If you email us, we keep your message and address so we can reply and so we have a record of the matter if it comes up again. Our email is provided by Google, so messages are stored on Google's systems.
How we use your information
We use it only to deliver what you bought, to answer your questions, to handle refunds, and to keep the tax and accounting records the law requires of us. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
We do not sell your personal information, we do not rent or trade it, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. We do not send marketing email unless you have specifically asked us to, and any such message will let you stop it.
Who else handles it
Only the providers that make the business run: our storefront and payment processor (Gumroad, and Stripe if and when card processing moves there), our email provider (Google), and our website host (Vercel). Each handles data under its own terms, and none of them are permitted to use your information for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, which is generally seven years. Email correspondence is kept while it remains useful for support and then deleted. Nothing is kept indefinitely for no reason.
International transfers
We are based in the United States and our providers are largely United States companies, so if you are outside the US your information will be processed there.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive a copy in portable form, or to complain to your local data protection authority. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of in that respect.
To exercise any of these, email lookupmediallc@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first, usually by writing from the address used for the order. Exercising these rights costs nothing and we will not treat you differently for it.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will appear on this page with a new date above. Where a change is significant, we will make that clear rather than quietly amending the text.
